I think that pretty well defines TEDIOUS.

Seriously, I don't know what planet you guys are on if you're
suggesting that hobbyists should buy expensive CAM software prior to
learning to hand code. If you don't understand programming how can
you de-bug a program, how can you make a simple part change on the
shop floor? Without an understanding of programming how can you
make good use of CRC (CRC is one of the most powerful tools
available to the CNC machinist)? How can you make an informed
decision on which CAM software to buy until you understand
programming?

Could it be that my opinions are based on many more years of CNC
experience than you guys have?
