You can, but it may not make you a real popular guy. You will find that
most of the same people are on all the lists, so that the answers you
get will be pretty much the same. List rules also vary. This list is
managed pretty closely to keep it on topic. If you have not read the
list rules I would suggest taking a look at
http://www.timgoldstein.com/CAD_CAM/CCEDListRules.htm just so you know
what is and is not acceptable here. Most of the other lists are run far
more loosely so that the discussions can drift considerably from the
stated group topics.
