G201 and G210 drives are both 10 microstep drives meaning that the
normal full step is broken into 10 microsteps. The difference is that
with a G210 you have to clock each microstep with a pulse from the
computer. With the G210 you can put it into a mode where one pluse from
the computer clocks 10 microsteps from the drive. But in both cases the
motor is being microstepped.

I would aim more for 65 - 70 VDC and leave some comfortable margin. You
will not gain much performance by driving at the limit and can smoke
some drives.

I have used both and if they were the only two programs in the world to
choose from I would be running EMC. Luckily, there are other choices.
