Dual boot is not trivial but it can be done. What is the other OS?

Well all of the BDI's use about the same age of EMC so unless you need the
"latest greatest" other stuff, any would do.

There is a directory on the CD named emc. All that you would need to do
to produce a custom disk is to copy the CD to a directory on your PC,
place your custom INI file and a RUN file that points to it in that
directory, and burn a new CD with the boot option enabled. Then when you
boot the CD, IceWM produces an icon on the panel and a menu entry for
your version. It's name is the name that you give your machine in the
INI file.

I have a draft (not ready for prime time) of a BDI Install section for the
user handbook that I can send off-list if you wish.

There have been a couple of users who have. One of them wrote an install
script but I think that updates out there in the world of Linux or RT or
RTAI have broken it.
