Yes, as of now. Most hobby-level CNC programs are designed from the
ground up to produce step pulses by software timing loops. It would be VERY
hard to change them to work in this servo mode of operation.

At the present time the only drivers that have been written are for
EMC. I'd
like to change that, and if anyone else has a hankering to write a
driver, I'd
be glad to help, and the register specs, etc. are all on my web pages.
