Here in Detroit aka Land of a million bridgeports. I've never seen one bolted to the floor. Nobody ever does because often times they want to re-arrange the shop. Its too much hassle to be drilling into the floor all the time. They can scoot them down and make room for more and all that. And if you arent giving your table lock the 200 pound test you should be ok. Not mounting the base effects tolerance? oy! Although with a lathe that is true.
