What are you talking about? I am using 1/8 Hp (continuous) motors,
which I have
established a peak torque rating of about 9 In-Lb. I use a 2.5:1 belt
reduction
ratio to drive the leadscrew. I get rapid feeds of 120+ IPM on a series I
Bridgeport. When I DO use these speeds, I invariably end up dodging bits of
endmills and fixtures as they bounce off the walls, so I now try to keep
my rapids
and jog feeds to 60 IPM or less.

Sure, if the larger motors are available, a little extra never hurts.
But there's no
WAY the E660 motor can only deliver 6 IPM!
