Why don't you check out the belt drive section tool at
http://www.sdp-si.com/ they have a simple calculator that allows you to
select any center to center distance and choose different types and
sizes of pulleys. If you can't find a combo for your c-c distance, then
check out their idler pulleys. The lesson here is to "measure twice,
cut once" in other words, work out you dimensions on paper using
available components - then you only have to make it once... It's also
called experience... Good luck!
