Bobcad Version 18 is what i use and save a bit of quirkiness its pretty easy to use and ample for 99% of general machining needs. Get the training CD's with it. And you will learn it very quickly. Dont pay what they are asking, make them an offer. I got Version 18, training CD's and two extra seats for $400. Just a heads up. And due to to the glitches in the 3-D areas of the software and their unwillingness to produce any updates thats about what its worth. Unfortunately from my queries and review of other softwares they are about the best deal for the money.

Hi, I'm new to cnc maching. I want to convert my sherline mill to
cnc. I was thinking of using the factory hard wareconversion. The
problen is I'm not too good at using a computer and have no skills
at drafting and cnc software. Does anyone have a favorite easy to
use software? Also what kind/kinds of software do I need? Any help
or comments is greatly appreciated.
