Hello,

I agree with Kim. Learn to type Gcode into a plain text editor. Use
something like TurboCnc for software to interpret your Gcode and run the
mill.

Someday you may acquire Gcode from somebody else or you may generate it
with drafting software. You will probably have to edit it a bit to get
it to do exactly what you want. You will need to understand Gcode to do
this.

Gcode itself is not difficult to learn. It is very primitive as
programming languages go. The toughest part is thinking through your
operations and deciding how you would do them yourself. If you can make
such a list then you can write Gcode.
