BTW I am not the one who requested the db cutout gcode. I did however,
detect a bit of sarcasm in your comment. Personally I saw this as a
reasonable request. If someone is only going to do this once or twice why
spend the time to do it if someone else has good code and is willing to
share it. Since few if any of us are in business and compete with each
other I don't see any harm in it.

FYI I am currently writing a preprocessor of gcode for turbocnc. I
currently have guys sharing their code with me so that a simple menu driven
program (user friendly) that can modifiy each line of code as required to
perform redundant tasks such as pocket milling, lathe profiles etc.
Hopefully if I still retain some of my programming skills this can be very
useful to the contributors of code as well as myself.

You may have the skills to write error free gcode at will, but few of the
rest of us out here do. Many of us are just plain hobby guys. Therefore we
do not consider what we do a "trade secret" or look down on others just
learning the craft. Nor do we have to compete in the commercial market
place.

I hope you take this in a constructive sense. You have to realize that there
are a lot of us with homebrew cnc gear that are just starting up the
learning curve. Material is just too expensive nowadays to experiment like
we used to.
