Yeh, I bought this machine for $1500.00 with electrically
problems ... "Z" axes kept blowing the transistors on the Board ...
I forget the board name. And being very hopeful I thought
I could fix it (not knowing anything about electronics). Well maybe
it was way more then hopeful. In any case, I year when by and I never
did get it running so I built the site and was trying to sell it. I
then found
a man who was willing to commit to helping fix it via emails over the
internet.
Well he did. Slow process and very patient man to work with me. We
were able
to get it running but all I can do is download programs to it to fill
the buffer memory
(about 3000 lines of NC code) and run that and then download the next
3000 lines.
Not what I was expecting. I just can't seem to get the Dripfeed program
to work
through the parallel port which would read one line at a time but would
run for hours.
The best thing to do with it is what you are doing.
Then I can also get off the 3-phase rotoary converter I am running it
on. Well after the
spindle motor gets replaced.
