Re: Bridgeport retrofit servo questions

Yeah, I know what you mean about the memory limitations...I just
wanted to get the machine so I that I could make some simple cuts.
With a bad ERS board, not even that was happening.

Luckily I have 3-phase in the shop, so I don't have to replace the
spindle motor. You might be able to find a suitable DC 2-3HP motor on
surplus center. If you are not set on controlling it via Mach2, you
can get one of the speed controllers that they sell in there, pop on
a cheap tach and go to town.
