Addendum...I also have a 70% efficiency factor for the gear reduction in my
results below.

This is good news for me because your calcs agree with mine :)

reduction at the 20A motor torque of 275 oz-in and a conservative guess at
screw efficiency of 30%. I think a ball screw would have a better
efficiency. If I take out the efficiency factor the force is 1500lbs.
