Heh heh - there's the rub. I'll be using a 2:1 drive ratio. I'm pretty
sure this will be enough force on the table. As you can see, this is
all future tense, since I haven't put my machine together yet :)

I have a friend who bought a ProtoTrak with fried controls. His gearing
is 2.7:1, and his motors are around the same power as mine - 450-500
oz-in on X and Y, 350 or so on Z (I think).
