Not at all, however, I prefer to stand on the sholders of giants rather
than dangle from their beltloops :) There are a number of very powerful
scripting engines available, and one can always use a subset of their
capabilities. The EXE portion of my script interpreter as it stands now
represents somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 hours of programming
time, most of which is related to the backplotter. The gcode output
portion took a grand total of about 3 hours. There is no way I could
have reinvented a reasonable custom scripting engine in that amount of time.

I'm skeptical that it would be as useful as it sounds, but the
'geek-factor' of a tool that does that, useful or not, is pretty high,
so I may have to give it a go someday :)
