RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] ModBus, PIC speed control

Thanks for the URL. So does this interface have a special driver chip, or
can we use a MAX-232 for the PIC?

A "spare stepper port" (step/dir) is also a nice way to interface. We don't
need bi-directional communication, that I can think of.
