I misstakenly responded to Paul K for you post so if Paul is reading
this then thank you as well.
I am lucky to have some extra money floating around each pay as I have
no children and own my own home so I can spend a lot more money on my
loved one, the house and last but not least......ME! :)
After changing brushes over the last 12 months at $16 a pair I have
found that I have more than paid for the router nearly 2 times the
original cost ( I suspect the brushes are very inferior to other
reputable branded ones) of the machine. This has led me down the
brushless path at $228AU . If I get 4 years out of the motor then it
will more than make up for any brush changes and stalling of the
cutter in mid cut and having to throw the part away due to a non
cutting action dragging the tool over the job.
It should be an interesting project.
