MDF, Particle Board, and certain types of hard woods are on the EPA's
hazardous materials list. A dust collection system is a REQUIREMENT if you are
cutting any of these materials. One can/will develop some serious lung
problems, even with a dust extraction system, you should be wearing a dust mask when
working with these materials.
