When you say are these "indicated feed rates" or "actual measured feed
rates", what do you mean?
Basically if I process the g-code in SheetCam then open the .tap file in
Mach3 and run it. The x axis will show that it is moving faster than what I
have set it for in SheetCam. The DRO readout in Mach3 will show the "set
feed" to be at say 1500mm/min but the "actual feed" DRO will show
1800mm/min.
"-------indicating a disparity between the total drive ratio of the two axis
which would give us a starting point-----"
The x axis has a different gearing setup to the y axis.
The x axis has a belt reduction setup where as the y axis is a direct drive.
Will this matter?
Do both axis have to have exactaly the same gear reduction/ratio's.?????
