Indicated vs. actual i.e. are these figures the machine is telling you or
have
you actually measured them. If your taking them from the DRO then
there might not be an actual problem with the drive system but just a
mis-calibrated DRO.

The 45 degree cut I suggested will show if this mismatched feed rate
is producing a problem with the finished product.


Axis ratio's, no they don't need to be the same, but the control system
needs to be adjusted for this difference in order to drive them at the same
rate (different step rate for different ratio's). So you will need to tune
the
motors as said in a previous posting.
