I think you have the expected result here.

You can move at 1300 mm/min max along either axis. So, if you are moving at
a 45 degree angle, you can move at sqrt(1300^2+1300^2) = 1838 mm/min max. I
think that's what you are seeing.

Please correct me if I am totally off-base
