Bob,

At this point is seems like 2 motors might be necessary unless a servo
motor could accomplish both. I am going to look at trying to control
the existing spindle motor fist, then seek out a stepper or servo as a
second motor. I'll have to figure how to do the wiring as you
suggested. I might be able to control the switching with the computer
through relays. The machine has great potential and might even be
able to do hollowing.....
