$3,500 for an upgrade ?

Is that a whole new machine ?

A power supply would cost less than $500.00, 3 drives less than
another $500.00, 3 motors, depending on costs, anywhere from $20.00
treadmill motors to $350 servos. Encoders would run about $200.00 for
the three, depending on options. may come with 'real' servo-motor.

I think you would be hard pressed to spend $2,000 on a complete servo
system.
