As far as I am concerned any Yahoo group is nothing more than a glorified
majordomo list.

Sure you can post photos and files but that capability is pathetic. Tiny
photos, awkward to navigate, pathetic. I rarely bother with anything other
than the email posts. If I want to publish photos I do it on my own web
site(s). There are many alternatives to Yahoo for everything.
