When I first joined, Mariss had not come out with the Gecko and there
were weekly discussions of fixing L296 boards. That knowlege can be
put to rest.

Some gems have been lost thru time and the way Yahoo lays things out,
it is nearly impossible to recover things.

A WIKI would be a great idea, but alas, one would need volenteers to
to weeks worth of work. There was a group that was started that was
supposed to do that, copy the good threads and post them, but the thig
was never pulled off.

For those who don't Know, Yahoo is comming out with a COMPLETELY
revamped group format

It is very changable. here is one guys site where he is playing with
the new modules as them come out. MOST of the modules are NOT OUT so
99% of the worries are for nothing at this point.

One feature that is probably going to be in the final version is the
ability to tag posts or vote on posts. that means the ability to tag,
say Marriss' post on the difference between servo's and steppers.

And THAT would make the archives much easier to use.
