Sobels was no-joy, though they did check. Meridian was no-go also.

Some things that are screwy with this machine, back gear doesn't work.
It just plain locks up. That might be a clue, eh? Since I don't need it,
I think I'll just reach in and cut the timing belt off. I do have a
spare...
Also, at least some of the power feed stuff has been removed. Don't want
someone engaging power feed against a powered up stepper motor...
I found this out when I removed the feed selector to replace with a
bracket for the VFD remote panel.
Spindle is VG. Quiet and smooth. It'll take a heavier cut than my BP
will, which does have bearings slowly heading south.
