RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Help: PCB Trace Milling Software

I've actually used Eagle to generate a trace outline file(once). It was
fairly straight forward, draw your pcb as per usual, run the script
seperately on each of the layers you wish to route(pads included) which
would generate a new layer containing the outlines for that layer, ground
paths were left unrouted. That new layer could then be output using the
CAM processor in the form you desired, I output it to HPGL and then fed
that into DANPLOT which was running my Sherline milling machine, the
results were poor though because I don't have an engraving head. Otherwise
it would be quite painless with the proper setup.

You need the file mill3.ulp from the download/user files area, mill3.ulp
and mill_drill.ulp will also work, they differ slightly in that one of
them routed the ground out where mill3.ulp didn't.
