Peter i dont like spam either so what i do is open many email
accounts on free email servers and use them for specific things.
This leaves my bussiness email address for bussiness only. That way
when you start to get spamed in a non critical account its no big
deal. I usally use

www.amexmail.com

good up time and fairly fast. Do not use hotmail, email is delayed
up to 4 hours sometime getting to you.
