Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Quick Change Tooling
IMHO, the best solution is a R8 Adapter type such as the ROYAL product
where you use the Spindle Brake (or Lock), the supplied Spanner Wrench
and the proper Tool Holder (one for each tool size is required). This
setup isn't cheap but costs less than the best solution which is the
Ericson replacement Quick Change Spindle for Bridgeport (a retrofit).
(The Erickson QC-30 startup kit is about $1650.00)
