I'll vouch for the dishwasher method. I first read about it in Jerry
Pournelle's column in Byte magazine for revitalizing keyboards. I swear by
Northgate keyboards (which aren't made any more) and both of mine have been
through the dishwasher several times. In fact, one of them was cleared of
an intermittent contact which I caused by foolishly trying to blow out dust
with some compressed air.
