Re: Z axis conversion

I think i read somewere that the z axis will fall down if you install
a ball screw and remove power from the drive motor. Have to be a
little carefull.

I peeked in my bridgeport knee by laying on the ground and using
light to see up inside it. Not sure how you would change this screw.
And like you said before a preloaded ballnut may not be needed.
