This is something I hadn't thought about, although in typical clock dial
engine turning there is a lot of random chatter marks from all those sloppy
bearings and ways that just add to the general "sparkle" of the effect. Is
this "interference fringe" a serious problem in NC milling? How is it
addressed? Does it lessen with higher resolution table movements? Would a
servo based control have smoother motion than a stepper based one?
