Good ideas! I had considered using a schmitt trigger type gate, so that
"contact bounce" could be reduced, but splitting up the three switches
to feed three gates may be simpler. Much easier to machine a chunk of
Brass then Ceramic! If we had room in the sensor head, I'd like to see
three LED's, then it could quickly double for an "electronic edge
finder". Putting logic and LED's in a small die-cast box would work
equally as well!
