I can see that a lot of things are still around from the old days.
I'm just a few miles form Haddonfield. There is a sign on evey third
house "Geroge Washington Slept here" and some of those houses are
older than anything west of the mississippi.
We have a lot of old stuff in corners of old shops. That's why I
thought a Bridgeport with a DRO at $2,000.00 was a good deal. Heck
it even has the mortising attachemnt. The thing that stoped me was
how much work it would be to convert.
As soon as I get my current project(s) to a good workable point, I'll
be scouring the area for that old, fleamarket priced bridgeport.
