What is the voltage rating of your motors? That will give us an idea on the
inductance. How are the motors wired (full coil, 1/2 coil, parallel)? What
is the torque rating of the motors?

When I had the Sherline with stock screws, 135 in/oz 2.4 volt or so motors,
DanCAD, Camtronics 5 amp controller set to 1 amp I was getting speeds more
in the 50 or 60 ipm range.
