RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] List goals/aims/results?

Must be something in the air. This must be the 3rd or 4th time that the
split the list issue has come up.

<sarcasm>
Let me put it into my twisted way of thinking:
1 - The list has too much bandwidth devoted to topics that don't interest
me.
2 - I don't float my interests because I feel I can't contribute and will be
ridiculed if I do.
3 - If we could get those loud mouths to stop talking about what they find
interesting I am sure someone would bring up my interest.
4 - I know, lets ask for a new list so the people that actually talk about
subjects can go there and I can get someone to tell me what I want to know
once they leave.

OK, I am convinced we should split the list. Here is my recommendation of
the lines we use to split it. People that never post will all be transferred
over to the Hobby CNC list that has no postings. People that post on diverse
topics related to CNC machines and are willing to help anyone regardless of
their goals will stay on CAD_CAM. Seems like a good division to me.

Anyone interested in any input from me on the little bit I know should place
their posting on CAD_CAM as I have no interest in and would likely not be a
good fit for the new CNC lurker only list.
