I dunno....at least one didn't have to deal
with windows back then! <g> i.e. lockups etc..

I remember using PCAD Master Designer for many years,
and it was a pretty robust product.

But I wasn't referring to PCB software anyway. I meant
the software that came with the LPKF, for running it.

It was based on software timing-loops, on an XT....

So it didn't like 486's at -all- ! <G>

It just wasn't worth messing with, that's all.

Easier, and better, to put a new and better control on
the machine, and get new software for trace-isolation.

At least, that's the way it was for me. Maybe Zoran
got lucky and got more recent, and better, software with
his. Hope so.
