Oh OH! Ten wires sounds like 5-phase motors, which are rather oddball. They perform VERY well,
however. Look for Vexta and Oriental Motor for info on these motors. IF they are 5-phase, you
will have to use Vexta or Berger-Lahr drivers on them, as they own the patents. If you can figure
out the connections to the "unusually scratched chip" to drive it, then maybe you can use
the drivers as is.
