I sent this off list also to bypass the delay of yahoo

Well, it's doing something, it's doing the same thing as when you
type in ./emc.run. You just can't see the errors flying by. There is
a way, I believe, to pipe the output to a file but I don't know how.

Anyway, first thing it might say is
"./emc.run: which: no such file or directory"
mine does that also - not a problem yet, it
should start loading some files next. look through the
returned messages and see if anything looks like an
error to you. Once it errors out it will start unloading
all of the stuff it just loaded. You should be able to
see something that does not look right. Let us know
what those say.

One of the gurus will probably be able to tell you
how to pipe that to a file if that can be done.

Also you may want to try some of the other run files.
sim.run, generic.run, etc again you must do the "./ first"
eg "./sim.run"
