NO you need to be root when you log in.
Sorry I should have caught that, I always
log in as root so I just assumed...

When you log in your user name needs to be "root"
pasword needs to be whatever you told the install
program when you first installed.

if that does not work try root as user name and leave
the password blank

If you need to reload when it asks for a root password
don't enter anything just hit next. When you log in enter
root as user name and leave password blank
