WTC tragedy

I'm really sorry at the carnage suffered at WTC, and hope that this
unfortunate event will galvanise the world to unite and bring a stop
to terrorism. It sadden me to see on TV a small section of the world
population rejoicing at America's suffering, but wish to point out
that the VAST MAJORITY of the earth's inhabitants are sickened by
that sight.

The sight of such a huge seemingly rock solid structure, suddenly
crumbling astound me, and hope that such thing will never recur. Is
the WTC of prefabricated steel construction? Steel has the
undesirable property of becoming soft at relatively low temperature
and may explain the sudden collapse.

While Americans are rightly furious, I hope they also learn a lesson
from this megatragedy and be ultra cautious when sponsoring
insurgencies against foriegn government deemed unfriendly to American
interest. Re: the snippet from a report on Osama Bin Laden who is
quoted in many unconfirmed report to be the prime suspect.

"During his early years, he worked for his father' company before
fighting alongside Afgan guerillas during the US-BACKED jihad,
or "holy war", against the Soviet Union after it invaded Afghannistan
in 1979." Sometimes our mistakes come back to haunt us.

I hope the culprits are quickly brought to justice, but plea against
over-reaction and escalation.
