Matt,
I assembled both the 3-axis and the 4th-axis boards and agree with
the other replies that you have received, i.e., very good quality,
fun to assemble, works great, etc.
One thing I would mention, however, is that while the instructions
are adequate to build the board, I missed having a schematic. It
turns out that Dan (of Camtronics) wrote a series of construction
articles in the May 99 thru Aug 99 issues of Nuts & Volts magazine.
(In fact I was going to build this version and that's how I came
to contact Dan and learn of his current design). But, even tho the
one in the magazine is lacking some of the features of the current
version, it is similiar enough to help understand the circuit and
the wiring required. Also good reading, he walks you thru the
entire construction and checkout. You might want to take a look,
it will bolster your self-confidence once you see how easy it is.
Give it a go.
