While talking about Camtronics I thought I would mention the heatsink
that Dan has to fit the Gecko drives. It is a big massive thing that is
drilled and tapped to hold 4 drives (G2XX or G3X0) and has additional
holes to allow mounting the heatsink to your cabinet. I got one and it
really solved a mounting issue I had. I am using it with a single 3 some
odd inch 110 v fan setting flat on the fins and blowing into the
heatsink. It is staying room temperature with no noticeable heat rise
even after running Bridgett for a few hours. Much easier to mount than
using CPU fans. It is also a very good value.
