Hi Marcus,
Windoze 2000 is actually quite stable and easy to use. I was very sceptical
about it for some time but now I have it on a machine I prefer it to win
98 - I don't seem to have half the trouble with it. I think the best thing
though is to start with a clean machine. I agree with you about XP and I've
heard bad comments about ME although I haven't tried it myself.
You could always go with Linux of course...... most of the windoze apps will
run under one of the emulators if you need them to.
