On this side of the pond I did not realise Explorers
were such a big deal, anyway I have spoke to my web guy and
he tells me that the reason Opera was not detected was because
the Msoft product is a descendant of Opera and they share the
same DNA.
He has told me that he will rectify matters as soon
as he can and will desist from all future control tendencies.

Yep. I will break my rule if it's something I "really" want. :-)

I did just fire up the Dolphin site with Opera and Netscape under linux
with no noticable problems. A warning about Internet Explorer but it did
let me in and seemed to work fine. Same as you found, they identified
Netscape but not Opera.
