A lot of the other programs that say they can do lathe are nothing
but the profile operation of a mill program modified to work on the

Dolphin is the ONLY repeat ONLY low cost complete Lathe program.
Anything a CNC lathe can do Dolphin can do. Rough turn, finish turn,
groove, groove with top and bottom radii, part off, screwcut and
more. It also has advanced features like defining the part shape so
you can use pre turned blanks or castings and save cutting air.
It also takes into account ACCURATELY the tool tip shape. A lot of
others don't do this with the result that the tip doesn't follow the
exact profile.
Remember with a CAD/CAM program you are going to be using it for a
long while and need to spend time and effort to learn it.
Dolphin is easy to learn. All the toolpaths are generated from a flat
2D drawing. You don't need to draw offsets, Dolphin does this
automatically. I also automatically generates the lead in and lead
out, leaving you with an uncluttered screen. If you make a mistake it
has unlmited undo and you just need to edit that operation and not
have to redraw the part.
Dolphin is the only low cost program that is complete with CAD, mill,
4th axis, lathe , post and comms - no extra's.
I defy anyone to name another package that has these features.
