Dear Group,
Can anyone point me to any simple software products to drive
a CNC router. Our main use will be cutting flat ali plate for
prototype control panels. All the packages I have seen so far
seem far too complex for our needs. I want a WSYWG function
to accurately lay out circles, rectangles and holes, specify a couple of tool sizes,
metal thickness etc. We propose using Artsoft Mach2 as the CNC control
program to interface with Rutex Amps OR are there products that will talk
to our home built router direct ? I have looked at just sending DXF files
from a CAD program into Mach2, but there seems a lot more parameters have to set
before a cut can be made !
