I have been reading the Nansel "Heavy Iron" series as well, hoping to
build myself a small benchtop mill. Any ideas on a spindle and drive
motor? The surplus treadmill motors/controllers seem like a
feasible option for a spindle motor but I don't have a clue for a
spindle.
