Who sells such tables suitable for machining purposes? What about ease of
mounting to something, and making all the std indexing adjustments, etc.?

I've been looking around the web, and so far all I've found that comes close,
is motion control/positioning stuff that can go up to a couple feet in XY, but
have table surface dimensions like 4" by 4". Looked pretty useless compard to
mills I've seen, though I have to admit, if it's there, there's probably a use
for it somewhere.
